Tutoring begins with a free consultation, where we discuss your child’s needs, goals, and availability. Once a suitable tutor has been identified, sessions are scheduled at a regular weekly time agreed by all parties.
Yes. The first month of tuition acts as a trial period and lessons are charged at the agreed rate. This allows families to ensure tutoring is the right fit before committing beyond the initial month. During this initial month, there is no requirement to give notice to stop tuition at the end of the trial period.
Yes. We support students with additional learning needs (including SEND), such as dyslexia and ADHD. Our tutors take a flexible, supportive approach and adapt lessons to suit each student’s learning style, helping them build confidence and make progress at their own pace. We work closely with families to ensure tutoring complements school support.
Yes. We offer both online and in-person tutoring. Online tutoring provides flexibility and convenience and is delivered using interactive tools to keep lessons engaging and effective. In-person tutoring takes place in the student’s home, where appropriate. Some students benefit more from in-person tuition, and we are happy to advise on the most suitable approach.
After gathering relevant information from you, we place students into small, carefully matched groups based on subject and level. Group lessons are delivered live online, and tutors will share lesson links and materials in advance. Where appropriate, tutors may set homework, always taking into account students’ existing schoolwork and overall workload.
Following an initial consultation, we take time to understand each student’s needs, goals, and learning style. We then carefully match them with a tutor whose experience and approach are best suited to support them effectively.
Lessons cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice are charged in full. After the initial trial period, we ask for 30 days’ written notice to end tuition. During the first month, families may discontinue tuition at any point within the trial month.
Invoices are issued monthly at the start of each month for lessons that have taken place in the previous month. Payments are made via bank transfer and we ask that invoices are paid within 48 hours to ensure tutors are paid promptly.
